*Obituary Quida Myrle Fleming Childers
Ouida Myrle Childers passed away on July 5, 2024. She donated her body to the Texas Tech medical school. Her ashes will be interred at Seagraves cemetery on October 12, 2024 at 11AM.

She was born on January 1, 1932 to Audie and Ruby Fleming in Brownfield TX. She was raised in Wellman TX on a farm. She graduated from Wellman High School.

She married Harry Childers on July 28 of 1950. She moved a mile down the road and was still on the farm. In 1966 she moved to Seagraves. She worked for Pillows Ice House In her later life she became a hair dresser and a photographer. She was always a daughter, a wife, a mother, a mother in law and a friend. She was a member of the 13th and Ave. D Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, her parents, her brother RL, and a granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, David Childers and his wife Jeanne, of Shallowater TX, a daughter Cleta Childers and Doug Hageman of Fort Worth, a son Gerald Childers and his wife Beth of Seagraves, and a daughter Marilyn Low of Brownfield. She is survived by ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one on the way, a nephew and a niece, and host of cousins.

We would like to thank Angel Arms for their excellent care of our mother for the last four years of her life.
