Connie was born on December 4, 1945, to Norma and Larry Reich. She and her high school sweetheart John Manderscheid moved to Texas where they started a family. Connie was a very ambitious woman and sometimes worked two jobs to put herself through school. She eventually went on to get her degree and became a nurse all the while raising two boys as a single mother. She married Bob Lee in 1986. They were the best of friends and enjoyed twelve happy years until he passed away in 2001. She later retired from nursing and moved to Whitney, Texas where she enjoyed living the country life and spending time sailing on Lake Whitney with John Scully. They would go on to wed in 2016. After John’s passing in 2019, Connie then moved to Allen, Texas, where she could be closer to her family.
She is survived by her sons Jeff, daughter-in-law Michelle and Greg, daughter-in-law Haley and daughter Tammy, husband Alan. Grandchildren Bryan, Hope, Kyle, Liz, Alyssa, Heather and Abi. As well as many nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no funeral. Her immediate family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. Connie wished to be remembered as a hardworking, loving mother, grandmother and friend.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The Humane Society of Dallas www.dognkittycity.org
