Sally Jo Gonnsen Moran, beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born to Leslie and Elizabeth Gonnsen on November 22, 1955 in Elgin, Illinois. She was the youngest of five. After growing up in Illinois, Michigan and Pennsylvania, she attended Southeast Baptist College. She then went to Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. Her passion was ceramics. She then met and married James Robert Moran, Jr. in September 1977 in Philadelphia. They began working in ministry for Campus Crusade for Christ in 1979 and began their family the same year. They served for 20 years both in California and Texas. She enjoyed raising her three children, Brooke, Keri, and David, volunteering in the community, creating pottery, reading, gardening and spending time with friends and family. She is greatly missed.
