Mrs. Jacquelyn Delois Henderson-Taylor peacefully passed away on January 11, 2013 in her home. Jacquelyn was born on December 23, 1950 in Panama City, Florida to Richard and Pansy Henderson (both deceased). She attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Panama City. Jacquelyn and Ralph H. Taylor were united in marriage on November 18, 1983 in Bedford, MA. She and Ralph have one son, Rashad Henderson Taylor.
Jacquelyn graduated from Bay High School in 1968. She attended Hartford Connecticut Community College and later the University of Mary Hardin Baylor where she received a Bachelors in Education on May 8,1999. Jacquelyn was a special education teacher. From 2000 until 2003, she was employed at CCISD-Copperas Cove Junior School before transferring to KISD-Palo Alto Middle School, where she taught until her retirement on December 30, 2012. Jacquelyn also served a stint in the Active Duty Army National Guard,195th Supply, Company, 94th Army Reserve Command, Roslindale, MA.
Jacquelyn is preceded in death by siblings: Catherine Louise Henderson, Richard Henderson, Jr., Matthew Henderson, Phyllis Varner and Joshua Henderson.
Survivors include sisters: Barbara J. McClure, Catherine P. Henderson, La-Connia Peters, Cheryl D. Thomas. Brothers: Richard L. Henderson; Matthew Henderson, Douglas Henderson. Sisters in laws: Alicia Thorne, Sue Henderson(deceased), Kim Henderson. Brother in laws: Larry McClure, Horace Thorne, James Thomas, Robert Peters, Alfred Varner. Nephews: Damien, Joshua, Douglas, Bennie Richard, Christopher, Robert Jr., Terrence (wife, Brigitte). Nieces Jennifer and Taquana. Her grand nieces and nephews include: Markiah, Cassandra, Antwane, Darnell, Jazmin and Jamaal.
Jacquelyn is survived by many other family members and friends, who are lovingly remembered. Her final interment will be at Garden of Memories in Panama City, FL. Please all donation should be made to Breast Cancer Research in the name of Jacquelyn Delois Henderson-Taylor.
