Gena Barnes Fullilove Gena Barnes Fullilove, age 44, of Austin passed away Thursday, June 2, 2005. She was born January 17, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Gena was a breast cancer survivor. She was a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church and worked in the real estate mortgage industry in the Austin area. She is preceded in death by her parents, Brig. Gen. William C. and Tommy Fullilove. Gena is survived by two sisters, four brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friend, Odeen. A memorial service celebrating Gena's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2005, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home. A private interment will take place at a later date. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
