*Obituary

Beverly Christensen, 72, of Austin, Texas passed away on August 16, 2016.

Beverly grew up in Chicago and moved to Austin, Texas over 30 years ago where she worked at and retired from Computer Sciences Corporation after a long career. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always full of life and laughter. She often cared for friends and loved ones, taking them under her wing. After retirement, she donated her time to charitable organizations including Faith in Action's Drive-a-Senior program and Next-to-New Consignment Shop, an organization that donates all proceeds to those in need.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Dencer and Stella (Bertram) Dencer. She is survived by her brother, Richard Dencer, and nieces Deborah (Dencer) Lollis and Erica (Dencer) Weisgram, and her beloved dog, Ginger.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2016. Please send a message to bevscelebration@gmail.com for details if you wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Cancer Society, a charity to which Bev often contributed on behalf of her loved ones, would be
appreciated.
