(01/30/2003) Rose Catherine Hubbard, 81, of Austin, passed away January 28, 2003, peacefully after a brief illness. She was born December 2, 1921, in Belleville, Illinois, to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Fellner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Roy Hubbard. She is survived by son, James Hubbard and wife, Denise of Pflugerville, Texas; and daughter, Shirley Catherine Hubbard of Boston, Mass.; brothers, Vincent Fellner of Kansas City, Missouri, and Joseph Fellner of Belleville, Illinois; grandchildren, Amy and Joseph Hubbard of Pflugerville, Texas, and Elise Edson of St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Rose was a Registered Nurse and instrumental in managing the family business in Odessa, Texas, for many years. Rosary services were held at Cook- Walden/Capital Parks, Pflugerville, Texas, on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held Thursday at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks, Pflugerville, Texas, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Circle of Life Hospice of Round Rock, Texas. Our love and many thanks go out to the members of the Circle of Life Hospice.
