Graveside services for Royce Edward Condit will be held at the Gaines County Cemetery on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. The family will be at home at 605 SW 20th.
Mr. Condit entered Eternal Life with his Heavenly Father and Redeemer, Jesus Christ on May 7, 2016. He passed away at his home surrounded by family following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Condit was born July 24, 1927, in Conditville, Okla., to Taylor Edward and Melva Mae Southern Condit. Royce married Bobby Nell Harrell on March 9, 1946, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Mr. Condit had been a resident of Seminole since 1971. He and his brother, Paul owned and operated Condit Implement/Condit Trucking Company for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Duncan, Okla.
Mr. Condit was a WW II veteran having served in the Army and was stationed in Asaka Saitama Japan with the 16th Quartermaster attached to the 1st Calvary Division. He received the WW II Victory Medal as well as the Army Occupational Medal.
Royce was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law, and a son-in-law.
Royce is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bobby, of the home; two sons, Randy of New Braunfels, and Bill of Sanderson, Texas; one daughter, Pat Crawford of Seminole, Texas; six grandchildren, John Crawford and wife Desta of Hereford, Texas, Krista Klause and husband Randy of Helotes, Texas, Taylor Condit and wife Holly of Midland, Texas, Barbee Condit of Austin, Texas, Jacee Ramirez and husband Steven of New Braunfels, Texas, and Luke Condit and wife Christy of Kyle, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Adison and Sierra Underhill, Cloee and Rylee Ramirez, and Finley and Karsyn Condit.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Crawford, Taylor Condit, Luke Condit, great-grandson, Adison Underhill and nephews, John Condit, Jim Condit, and Jeff Condit.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gaines County Veterans Memorial Park.

Bobby Nell Harrell Condit was born the sixth child of William Pierce and Martha Eliza McCauley Harrell on March 24, 1927 in Hope, Oklahoma.
Bobby Nell married Royce Edward Condit March 9, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Bobby was affectionately known as "GrandBob" to all her grandchildren, family, and most friends. Bobby and Royce, moved to Seminole in 1971 from Duncan, Oklahoma to partner ownership of the John Deere Implement business in Seminole with Royces' brother, Paul Condit.
Bobby accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young girl and has been faithful to trust Him all her life; the Lord is her Shepherd. She was a member of the Seminole First Baptist Church.
Bobby loved to travel and she and Royce had many good years of fun and made many friends traveling in their RV with their RV Club. Bobby loved life and her family were dear and important to her. She loved her cat, Shim.
Bobby has lived a blessed earthly life of 97 years and now gets to spend eternity in peace with her Creator and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. God is indeed good! Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. John 11:25-26.
For the past 3 years, Bobby has had many caretakers in her home who were special and dear to her. A special thanks from family to Helen, Andrea, Amanda, and Flor, and Liz and Gracie. A special thanks from family to Calvert Hospice for their loving care over the past 9 months.
Her witty personality and loving nature will be missed by all but we look forward to hanging out with her again in Heaven.
Bobby passed away January 14, 2025 peacefully at her home in Seminole, Texas.
Bobby is survived by daughter, Pat Crawford, of Seminole; grandson John Crawford and wife Desta of Amarillo; granddaughter Krista Klause and husband Randy of Helotes; grandson Taylor Condit and wife Holly of Midland; granddaughter Barbee Condit of Austin; granddaughter Jacee Ramirez and husband Steven of New Braunfels; grandson Luke Condit and wife Christy of Fischer; great grandson and great granddaughter Adison and Sierra Underhill; great grandson and great granddaughter Finley and Karsyn Condit; great granddaughters Cloee and Rylee Ramirez; great granddaughter Adailyn Condit; and nieces and nephews and many friends.
Bobby was predeceased by her parents, husband Royce, and sons Randal and William, and 5 siblings.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 18 at 11:30 at Gaines County Cemetery with Sean Decker officiating.
