Mrs. Betty Woodard Mills, 82, of Ringgold, Louisiana, former longtime resident of Kilgore, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Coushatta, Louisiana.
Mrs. Mills was born March 12, 1932 in Kilgore, Texas to the late Elmer Cecil and Stella Bessie Bickerstaff and was one of thirteen children.
Betty loved dogs, flowers and working in her garden. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Mills will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.
Mrs. Mills is survived by her children Diane Woodard Beard and husband Dennis, Janette Woodard, Theresa Woodard Adams and husband Larry and William I. Woodard and wife Gail; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands I.W. Woodard, Robert Richard Mills, and a grandson.
