VERNON — Noble Horn, 92, of Odell, Texas, died on Monday, June 27, 2011, in Vernon.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Bell Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home of Vernon.
Mr. Horn served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was janitor, custodian and bus driver for Odell School for many years.
Survivors include wife, Violet "Vicki" Horn of the home; three sons, Larry of Garland, Texas, Stephen of Odell, Texas, Brek of Iowa Park; daughter, Chyrlon Stroud of Vernon; two brothers, Elton of Chillicothe, Texas, Wayland of Tulsa, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bell Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Wallace Clay.
Vicki was born Tuesday, February 23, 1932 in Dallas, Texas; she was the daughter of the late Arley Fitzhugh Gant and the late Elby Beall Gant. She married Noble Earl Horn on May 9, 1946 in Rockwall, TX. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2011. She was a graduate of the first LVN class at Vernon Jr. College. She was a nurse at Vernon State Hospital retiring from there after 21 years for service. She also worked at nursing home in Chillicothe. She was a member of Odell Baptist Church.
She is survived by
Her Daughter Chyrlon Stroud of Vernon, TX.
Three Sons
Larry Horn of Garland, TX.,Denny Horn of Everett, WA., and
Brek Horn of Odell, TX.
Thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
