VERNON, Texas - Clara V. Querner, 79, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998, at her Vernon residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Gain and the Rev. Richard Keeling officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.
Mrs. Querner was born Feb. 14, 1919, in Vernon. She and Russell Wayland Querner were married Nov. 9, 1937, in Safford, Ariz. He died March 31, 1986. She had lived most of her life in the Northside, Fargo and Vernon areas. She was a member of the Word of Life Church.
A daughter, Sharon Sue Hopkins, died in 1972. A son, Danny Lewis Querner, died in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Baker of Vernon; four sisters, Dorothy Comer, Shirley Moore and Johnnie Lou Snyder, all of Vernon, and Opal Garder of San Diego, Calif.; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
