Funeral services for Virgil E Tims, 71, of
Gladewater, a Dallas Resident from 1948 to 1958, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the first
Methodist Church in Gladewater. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the EastView Cemetery in Vernon.
He did Sunday in Longview. Times as a native of Fort Worth and a former geologist for the Standard Oil
Company of Texas for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia, three daughters,
one son, one brother and 14 grandchildren.
