Cleo M. Scott, 86, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Scott was born September 23, 1917, in Mount Holly, Ark. She was retired from East Funeral Home Preneed Sales, a Sunday school teacher at Highland Park Baptist Church and a member of Ruth Bible Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. Jack Scott. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Hollis LaBeff of Texarkana; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Gary and Mary Beth Scott of Crocket, Texas; one sister, Gene Parks of Smackover, Ark.; three grandchildren, Michele McFaul, Hollie Drumm and Mike LaBeff; six great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one stepgreat-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane, with the Rev. Walter Jackson and Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
