Funeral services for Mrs. M.M. Baker, 90, who died Sunday morning at the home of a son, John S. Baker, on the Richmond Road, were held at 1:30 pm Monday. Rev. R. P. Montgomery of Fort Smith officiated and burial was in Red Lick Cemetery. Mrs. Baker was one of Bowie county’s oldest residents. She is survived by five sons, John S, Henry and Charles of Texarkana. Edwin of Gustine, Cal., and Ben F. Baker of Castana, Iowa. (10/25/1927) Obit provided by Ray Baker.
