Minter L. Clayton, son of Roy L. Clayton, entered the Army Air Corps Aug. 26, 1942; sent to Pacific Feb. 9, 1944 for 20 months' service; served on Luzon, New Guinea, Panama Canal the Philippines and Australia. He was attached to Signal Corps; held rank of Staff Sergeant when discharged on Jan. 9, 1946.
