Norma Mae Thomas, 93, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Overton, Texas, died Sunday, October 5, 2014 in a Texarkana, Texas nursing care facility. Mrs. Thomas was born February 7, 1921 in Alsuma, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd O. Thomas in 199l.
Survivors include one son and daughter in-law, Glen and Carol Thomas of Okmulgee, Ok.; one daughter, Carolyn Newman of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister in-law, James and Ann Woodward of Houston, Tx.; one sister and brother in-law, Virginia and R. D. Jones of Amarillo, Tx., 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Overton, Texas City cemetery with Rev. Norris Hogan officiating.
