HEREFORD - Eva Mae Livesay, 82, died Friday, April 15, 2011, in Kings Manor Methodist Home.
Eva Mae was born Oct. 9, 1928, in Maud, Okla., to Floyd and Gertrude Goodin McGee. She attended first through 11th grades in Tuttle, Okla. They moved to Hereford, and she graduated from Hereford High School in 1947. She attended Draughn's Business College in Lubbock.
Miss McGee married L.J. "Pat" Livesay in Hereford on Aug. 31, 1948. She had been a seamstress at Dorothy's Decorating for more than 20 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a sister, Doris Hardin, in 2002.
Survivors include her husband, L.J. "Pat" Livesay of Hereford; a daughter, Mary Ann Squier of Hereford; a son, Lyle Livesay and wife Sue of Gladewater; a sister, Naomi Walker of Hereford; two brothers, Floyd McGee Jr. of Dallas and Dwight McGee of Boise, Idaho, three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
