Mrs. G. D. Caison, Sr., 77, of Dumas, a former long time resident of Wellington, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, January 22 in Dumas Memorial Hospital.
She had moved to Dumas two months ago from Hereford, her home for 28 years.
Mrs. Caison, the former Hattie Lucinda Wilson, was born at Troop September 27, 1891. She and her husband moved to Wellington in 1907 and lived here until 1940 when they moved to Hereford.
Survivors are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Wayland Smith of Hereford, Mrs. Don Manzer and Mrs. W.C. Stansel of Dumas, Claude Caison of Wellington, G.D. Caison of Hereford; three brothers and four sisters: B.W. Wilson of Pampa, Leonard Wilson of Lubbock, Virgil Wilson of Spur, Mrs. C.C. Copeland of Altus, Mrs. R.Z. Taylor of Blair, OK, Mrs. Tom Helton of Ft. Collins, CO and Mrs. J.A. Turner of Friday Harbor, WA. There are 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
