Gail was born June 17, 1962, in Lockney, to Herman "Skeet" and Betty Brannon Word. She was full of life, loved butterflies and had a laugh and a smile that would melt anyone.
Survivors include three sisters, Paul Harrell of Hereford, Sue Straskulic of Amarillo and Pam Betts of Mesquite.
