Services for Joe W. Mauldin Sr., 77, of Tyler, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.
Born July 29, 1937, in Smith County, Mr. Mauldin died Oct. 2, 2014, at Clairmont Nursing Center.
He attended Douglas School, was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Annie Mauldin; and nine siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Mauldin, of California; sons, Erick Mauldin, Andre Mauldin, Anthony Mauldin, of Overton, Charles Mauldin, Joe Mauldin Jr., of Tyler, Kevin Mauldin, of Arp, Terry Mauldin, of California, Erick Mauldin Jr., of Gladewater, Allen Mauldin, of Dallas; daughters, Yolanda Lewis and Erica Mauldin, of Tyler; brothers, Elmer C. Mauldin, of California, Billy Wallace, of Dallas; sisters, Annie McGee, Marie Alexander, of California, Margie Dews, Flora Mae Pegues, Joyce Davis, of Dallas; 28 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
