Mr. Dottie Albro, 71, died January 20, 1998 in Mesa, Arizona after a brief illness.
Mrs. Albro was born November 19, 1926 in Amber, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna, in 1953 and her husband, Duane Albro in 1987.
Survivors include two sons, Sherman Albro of Mesa, Arizona and Daryl Albro of Chandler Arizona, one brother, Ted Miles of Electra and two grandsons._

The tragic death of Donna Sue Miller, 7 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane E. Albro, shocked the entire community and saddened a home which was bedecked with a silver Christmas tree laden with gifts.
The child, a student in First Ward School, died on the operating table in a Wichita Falls Hospital Monday at 10:30 a.m. The cause of death was ascribed to a coronary arrest while undergoing an adenoid and tonsil operation. The operation was said to be necessary because of a "run-down" condition, but Donna Sue was in usual health during the previous week. She had taken part in a Christmas program at the Church of God, Sunday night, just a few hours before her passing. She was a member of Mrs. E.C. Darter's class in the Church of God Sunday School, and was looking forward happily to Christmas and enjoying the gayly bedecked tree put up for her special pleasure.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Church of God. Mrs. R.J. Dunn, assistant pastor, was assisted by Rev. Loyd Lester, pastor of the First Baptist Church in officiating in the rites. The James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in the Electra cemetery.
Survivors other than the parents include the maternal grandmother, Mrs. S.J. Miles of this city; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Albro of Swartz Creek, Mich._
