Anthley T. Alexander, 55, a former resident of Electra, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, in El Paso after apparently suffering a heart attack.

He had resided in El Paso the past seven years where he was assistant manager of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery stores there.

Alexander was a member of Tobin Park Methodist Church, El Paso, Odd Fellow Lodge and was a veteran of World War II.

Services were held Friday from the First Methodist Church in Electra with the Rev. Ira Thompson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Electra Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Totten & Son Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rita Alexander, El Paso; one daughter, Sybil Sharon Alexander of El Paso; his mother, Mrs. Ada Alexander of Electra; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl McCullough of Wolforth, and Mrs. Mark Shirley of Electra; and one brother, Clifford Alexander of Port Arthur._

Graveside services for Rita M. Alexander, 76, were held Monday, June 24, at 2 p.m. from Electra Memorial Park with Rev. Pat Mahle officiating. Services were under the direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home. She died June 20, 1991 in El Paso.

She was born February 23, 1915 in Peacock, Texas. She had been a resident of EI Paso for 31 years, and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #116, Tobin Park Methodist Church in El Paso.

Survivors include one daughter, Shavon Ayoub of El Paso, Texas; One brother, Harold Stewart of Fort Worth, Texas and two grandchildren._
