Eddie Dale Allison, 79, of Wichita Falls died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. A graveside service has been scheduled for 3:00 pm, Friday, November 19, 2010 at New Electra Cemetery in Electra, TX officiated by Reverend Tommy Braggs of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Eddie was born August 17, 1931 in Electra, TX to Whipple and Ruby Lee (Blankenship) Allison. He was a self employed entrepreneur most of his life dabbling in many different businesses, mostly in the oil industry.
Mr. Allison is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Allison; six children; ten grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
