Kary Lance Allums, age 93, a resident of Electra, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, in Electra.
Services Saturday, July 19, 2003, at First Baptist Church, Electra, Texas, with the Rev. David Fortenberry, Desoto, Texas, and the Rev. John Klappenbach, Vernon, Texas, officiating. Interment Electra Memorial Park, Electra, under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home, Iowa Park.
Mr. Allums was born April 11, 1910, in Hall Summit, La. He and Norma Turner were married in 1931, in Beaumont, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1992. He and Jewel Fullerton Seale were married Sept. 14, 1996, in Electra.
He was a life member of the VFW. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific as Chief Petty Officer. He was Deacon in the First Baptist Church where he also served several terms as Chairman of the Deacon Body, as Sunday School Director, and as teacher of the Men's Bible Class and served on many of the committees. He retired as district supervisor with Mobil Pipeline Company in 1973.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Louise (Turner) Allums; his father, Sam Stephens Allums; and his mother, Lonie (Golson) Allums.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel Seale (Fullerton) Allums of Electra, Texas; a stepson, Don Seale of Electra, Texas; two stepdaughters, Linda Sheppard of Austin, Texas, and Jody Howton of Granbury, Texas; a sister-in-law, Marge Allums of Edna, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Norma Turner Allums, 82, died June 12, 1992 in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Funeral Services were held from the First Baptist Church; on Monday June 15, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. with. Dr. Billy Burke, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Mike Gresham. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.

She was born August 9, 1909 in China, Texas to William G. and Fannie (Garden) Turner. She and Kary Allums were married December 12, 1931 in Beaument, Texas. He had lived in Electra since 1946. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Electra.

Survivors include her husband, Kary of Electra; Two sisters, Ethel Parks of Houston, Texas and Lois Lefler of Beaumont, Texas.

Pallbearers were Cloyd Marsh, Willard Fowler, W.R. Carter Jr., Phil Holman, Jack Kidwell, Benny McHugh._
