Funeral services for C.H. Nick Arnold, 90, who died Nov. 14th in a Vernon Hospital, were held Saturday, Nov. 17th at 2 p.m. in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Merwin Turner of Wichita Falls and Rev. Marvin Guier, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1894 in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Henry and Henrietta Nieman Arnold. He had lived in Electra since 1908 and was a member of First United Methodist Church, a charter member of Electra Chuck Wagon Gang and a member of Punkin Center Community Club.

He married Alma Lalk April 3, 1918 in Electra. She died Aug. 1, 1976. Survivors include: a son, Albert Arnold of Electra; two daughters, Beatrice Flippin of Electra and Gladys Mauldin of Ft Worth; a brother, Daniel Arnold of Ottawa, Kan.; a sister, Gertrude Ahrens of Staunton, Ill.; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Aaron Ahrens, David Arnold, Robert Arnold, Robert Arnold, David Pearcy, Randy Halencak and Albert E Arnold._

Funeral services for Mrs. C. H. Arnold, 81, who died Sunday at her home five miles north of Electra, were conducted Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Merwin Turner, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Arnold was born Jan. 24, 1895 in Pershing, Mo.

She had lived in Electra for 66 years and was a longtime member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Flippin of Electra and Mrs. Gladys Mauldin of Fort Worth; one son, Albert Arnold of Electra; one brother, William Lalk of Electra; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Klinkerman and Mrs. Esther Scheible, both of Electra._
