Earl L Millhollon, 78, died August 31, 1992 in a Wichita Falls hospital.

Funeral services were to be held Thursday, September 3, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. from Totten-Day Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dickinson officiating. Interment is to be in Electra Memorial Park.

He was born September 24, 1913 in Electra, Texas to Burt and Myrtle (Douglas) Millhollon. He and Preston Ashley were married March 29, 1937 in Altus, Oklahoma.

He was former plant manager of NATCO.

He had lived in Electra all of his life. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He served on the Electra City Council from 1976 to 1978. He was past president of Electra Chamber of Commerce, 1976 Voted Man of the Year in 1974. He was an Honorary State Farmer by the Future Farmers of America and was Texas Business Man of the Year for 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Preston Millhollon of Electra, Texas; one son, John of Bryan, Texas; one daughter Earllyn Ondricek of Seymour, Texas; one sister, Lucille Turner of Farmington, New Mexico; six grandsons and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kent Sadler, Steve Millhollon, Spencer Sadler, Doug Millhollon, Earl Millhollon and Kirk Ondricek._

Preston Millhollon, 95, of Electra, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in Olney, Texas.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2009 in the chapel of Auld's Funeral Home in Electra with Kelly Russell, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Olney, officiating. Interment followed in the Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Auld's Funeral Home of Electra.

Preston was born on September 28, 1914, in Electra, Texas, to John Martin Ashley and Gracie Obie (Roberson) Ashley.

She and Earl L. Millhollon were married on March 29, 1937 in Altus, Okla. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1992.

Mrs. Millhollon was employed by Parr's Women's Wear and Barrett's in Electra and then employed by Sears, Roebuck and Co., in Wichita Falls. She was the manager of the Women's Ready to Wear department for seventeen years. She also worked at Fedway in Wichita Falls for six years. Mrs. Millhollon loved fashion and wanted every woman to look her best. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Electra and a founding member of the NATCO Ann's.

Survivors include one son, John Millhollon and wife Linda of College Station, Texas; one daughter, Earllyn "Lynn" Ondricek and husband Stanley of Olney, Texas; one sister, Ellen Anne Baker of Smyrna, Georgia, six grandchildren, Kent Sadler of Fort Worth, Texas, Spencer Sadler of Oak Harbor, Washington, Kirk Ondricek and wife, Misti of Olney, Ashley Barker and husband Richard of Wichita Falls, Ryan Sadler and wife, Julia, Dallas, Texas, Jon Michael and Hannah Millhollon of Cypress, Reghan, Reid Riley and Ryan Millhollon, all of College Station; and two great great grandchildren, Anabell Norris and Lucas Lane both of Baxley, and three nephews, Burnett Baker and wife Valerie of Louisville, Kentucky, Terry L. Baker of Mansville, Georgia, and Mark Baker and wife Dana of Powder Springs, Georgia.

Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Kirk Ondricek, Doug Millhollon, Earl Millhollon, Steve Millhollon, Kent Sadler and Spencer Sadler.

The family suggests memorials to the Electra Cemetery Foundation, 101 North Main St. Electra, Texas 76360 or to the charity of your choice._
