Wife of Seburn Taylor Sustaire (1853 - 1925)
Daughter of Moses Monda Hough &
Nancy Ferguson Hough
Note regarding Moses Monda Hough
His rustic gravestone has been located at Clear Creek Baptist Church, Mint Hill, NC; although difficult to read, it appears his death date is inscribed as 1858.
Note regarding Nancy Ferguson Hough
According to US Census records, Nancy Ferguson Hough's birth date is likely between 1816 and 1820. Her death date is after 1886. She signed property sale records in NC in 1885. It appears that she migrated to Texas from NC with her daughter's family (Emeline E Hough Knotts), because her name (transcribed incorrectly as N A Atongh) is on the founders' list of the Purley Baptist Church Centennial program. I am 2x great granddaughter of Nancy A Ferguson Hough and am searching for her gravesite in Texas, with her death being between 1886 and 1894. In 1894, when her son (Laban Harmon Hough) in NC married, he noted his mother as dead on the marriage application.
I would appreciate any information regarding a gravesite location for Nancy Ferguson Hough.
Thank you. Nancy Hough Holder Nhh1809@Cox.net
