Ephrain B. Beebe, 78, a long time resident of Electra, died Saturday, Sept. 16, in a Wichita Falls hospital, following a long illness.

He was born Sept. 5, 1894, in Ladonia, Mo., and retired from Texas Company as a pumper after 39 years.

A resident of Electra 52 years, he was a veteran of World War I, and a member of VFW.

Funeral services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. from the chapel of James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. E.B. Crump of Lancaster and formerly of Electra, officiating, assisted by Rev. Dick Kreeger, pastor of Assembly of God Church here.

Burial was in Electra Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae; four sons, Gilbert Beebe of Electra, Donald Beebe of Oklahoma City, Roy L. Beebe of Levelland and Joe Beebe of Wichita Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Naomi Chapman of Garland; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Buschardt of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Wilson of St. Charles, Mo; two brothers, Ralph Beebe of Saint Charles and Clarence Beebe of Dallas; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild._

Final rites for Ida Mae Beebe, who died Dec. 25th in Garland Community Hospital, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Totten Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darwin Stroud, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, and Rev. Joe Ainsworth, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Electra Memorial Park under direction of Totten and Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Beebe was born June 26, 1900 in West Plains, Mo. She was 79 years old. She married E.B. Beebe, Dec. 18, 1920 in West Plains, Mo. and was a member of the First Assembly of of God Church. She had resided in Electra for the past 59 years.

Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Naome Chapman of Garland; four sons, Gilbert of Electra, Don of Oklahoma City, Leon of Midland and Joe of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Edna Yust of St. Charles, Mo., Erina of Conklin of St., Louis, Mo., Arlean Brown of St. Charles Mo., and Ruby Cato of Electra; three brothers, S.G. Gilbert of Atlanta Ga., J.N. Gilbert of Mosious Mills, Mo., R.W. Gilbert of Columbia, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren._
