Mrs. Melvin Bellah, 23, died Sunday, July 27 in a Hobbs, New Mexico hospital. Her services were conducted at 2 p.m. July 30 in James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.
The Rev. Steve Adams, pastor of Hillside Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was held in Electra Memorial Park.
Born Oct. 23, 1951, in Graham, Texas, she had resided in Electra 22 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Treva Jo of Electra; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Loftin of Hobbs; five brothers, James and Kenneth Loftin of Phoenix, Arizona, Windel Loftin of County Line, Oklahoma, Gary Loftin of Vernon, Texas, and David Loftin of Hobbs; five sisters, Mrs. Ray Maxwell of Archer City, Texas, Mrs. David King of Lake Kickapoo, Texas, Mrs. Gerald Blakely of Hobbs, Mrs. Burnel Soileau of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Mrs. Don Zicek of Vernon.
