Mr. Cecil Paul Farmer, 59, of Borger died Saturday in Borger after sewveral months of illness. He was born in Forestburg, Texas December 23, 1911.

Mr. Farmer had lived in Borger 20 years and worked for Phillips Petroleum Co. in Borger. He was a veteran of WWII.

Survivors are his wife, Betty of Borger; five brothers, Percy of Wheeler, Foy of Mobeetie, T.C. (Bill) of Borger, Clifford of Borger and Fred of Fritch; and three sisters, Mrs. Ina Satterfield of Pampa, Mrs. Lois Johnson of Borger and Mrs. Oneta Murray of Orange, Texas.

Services were held Monday, February 29, 1971 at the First Baptist Church in Wheeler. Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa officiated with Rev. Keith McCormick assisting.

Pall bearers were Leo Lamb, Pyrman Martin, Milton Lyle, Cecil Bailey, Tom Helton and Clarence Dyson.

Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
