E. E. (Edward) Farmer a resident of Wheeler since 1927 passed away at the Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Pampa Monday, January 11, 1965 at 4:15 p.m.

Mr. Farmer was born in Alabama January 17, 1875 to Tom Farmer and Sallie Broadaway Farmer. He was married to Lillie Walker at Forestburg, Texas in 1897.

Mr. Farmer was a member of the First Baptist Church and spent his active life as a farmer.

Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Wheeler on Wednesday, January 13, 1965 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Frank J. Ross will officiate.

Pall Bearers were Leo Lamb, Roy Bailey, Tom Helton, Clarence Dyson, Shelby Pettit and Pryman Martin.

Survivors include the wife, Lillie of the home at 600 Cheyenne St. in Wheeler; seven sons, Percy and Ebb of Wheeler, Foy of Mobeetie and T.E. (Bill), Paul, Fred and Clifford all of Borger; three daughters, Mrs. Ina Satterfield of Pampa, Mrs. Lois Johnson of Borger and Mrs. Oneta Murray of Springville, New York; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one sister Miss Dora Farmer.

Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Wright-Denson Funeral Home.

Lillie Edna Farmer, 83, passed away in the Worley Hospital January 23, 1966 after a serious illness for 2 months.

Mrs. Farmer was born March 6, 1882 at Forestburg, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Walker and was married to Edward E. Farmer in 1897 at Forestburg, Texas.

She moved to Wheeler from Forestburg in 1927.

Survivors include: 7 sons, Percy Farmer, Wheeler; Ebb of Wheeler, Foy of Mobeetie; Bill of Borger; Paul of Borger; Fred of Borger; and Clifford of Borger; 3 daughters; Mrs. Ina Satterfield of Pampa; Mrs. Lois Johnson of Borger and Mrs. Oneta Murray of Pittsburg, Calif.; one brother: Smith Walker of Putnam, Okla.; 2 sisters: Linnie Teague of Weatherford, Okla.; Ruth Teague of Gould, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 sons.

Mrs. Farmer was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Services were held Tuesday January 25, 1966 at 2:30 in the First Baptist Church of Wheeler with Re. Dale Cain officiating.

Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Wright-Denson Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were: Leo Lamb, Tom Helton, Pryman Martin, Shelby Pettit, Roy Baily and Clarence Dyson.
