Funeral service for Sylvester B. Walker, 79, of 3602 Hayden, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Centeral Church of Christ with John Ebb Randel, minister of the Farwell Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in the West Park Memorial Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of N.S. Griggs and Sons.
Mr. Walker died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday in Northwest Texas Hospital. He had lived in Amarillo since 1945.
He was a member of the Central Church of Christ and was born March 10, 1884, in Winfield, Kan.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, a son, a brother, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
