Margaret Friemel, 82, of Canyon died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Amarillo.
Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel in Canyon. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Dr. A. Moses officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Margaret Friemel was born Feb. 5, 1925, to Anna Tucek and Clarence Friemel in Amarillo. She was a longtime resident of Randall County. She was a homemaker. Margaret married Alvin Friemel on April 26, 1944, in Umbarger. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and active in the 4-H Club, Extension Homemakers, and Umbarger Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 14, 1973.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Friemel of Canyon; two daughters, Virginia Haeberle of Sacramento, Calif., and Cynthia Boston of Springtown; and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Brockman of Amarillo.
