Kenneth Lynn Duren, 61, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2002 from the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Riley, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Duren was born July 26, 1940 in Electra, Texas. He and Rose Mary Hallmark were married January 17, 1959 in Oklahoma. He graduated from Electra High School in 1958 and attended Midwestern State University.

Survivors include his wife wife Rose Mary Duren of Elec­tra, Texas; two sons, Lynn and Lisa Duren, Jr. of Orem, UT; C.R. and Aundrea Duren of Archer City, Texas; brother and wife, George Rollo and LaJune Duren of Electra, Texas and brother and wife, Douglas and Jo Duren of Devol, Okla­homa and grandchildren Brendon, Casey, McKensie, McKell, Jason, Justin, Elissa and Jaron. He was preceded in death by his parents C.H. and Lady Duren. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Associa­tion or the American Heart Association._
