Funeral services for William Porter Hamilton 55, were held at 2 00 p. m. today from the First Baptist Church with the Rev. J. C Priester. pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Electra Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home.
Hamilton, a resident of the Electra area all his life, died here Tuesday afternoon in the local hospital. He entered the hospital Sunday morning suffering a heart condition.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Hamilton, early settlers of this area, Hamilton was born Feb 13, 1908.
A retired oil field worker, he was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surivors include his wife, Etta; one son, Bob Hamilton of Breckenridge; three sisters. Mrs J M Spikes and Mrs. T E Lewis, both of Electra, and Mrs. Flake Furney of Port Isabel, Texas, three brothers, Joe Hamilton of Norborne. Mo., Cyril Hamilton of Salem Ore . and Jess Hamilton of Springfield, Mo. and two grandsons, Rickey and Rusty Hamilton of Breckenridge._

Mrs. Etta Dell Hamilton, 92, died Thursday, November 26, 1998 in Breckenridge, Texas. Graveside services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 1998 from Electra Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Nichols, pastor, Southside Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, officiating.
Mrs. Hamilton was born April 24, 1906 in Eastland County, Texas. Her husband, William Porter Hamilton preceded her in death on March 19, 1963. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Electra.
Survivors include one son, Robert "Bob" G. Hamilton of Breckenridge, Texas; two grandchilden, 6 great grand-childen and three great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels program in Electra._
