SWEETWATER - Gene M. Kropp, 55, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Keith Clifton officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mr. Kropp married Kay Tharp in Sweetwater. He worked for Lone Star Cement Co. and was Quarry Supervisor.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Kropp of Sweetwater; two daughters, Brook Johnson of San Angelo and Leslie Trevino of Aspermont; two sisters, Joanna Rash of Tustin, CA and Ann Kropp of Sacramento, CA; a granddaughter; and his mother-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.M. Kropp and Juanita Kropp.
