Emma Irene Brown married Frank Harrison on January 10, 1934 at the First Presbyterian Church in Crockett. They had two children, Johnny Frank Harrison and Rebecca Harrison Dikes.
Irene was a graduate of Stephen F Austin State Teachers College and taught school in Houston County. For a number of years she and Frank lived in Raymondville, but moved back to Harrisontown in Houston County around 1956.
Jim Tom Ainsworth held graveside funeral services for Irene at Old Zion Cemetery on January 29, 1995.
