Harden married, 24 January 1895 in Milam Co., TX, Cenia Key Whitfield, a daughter of Francis Marion and Lear A Whitfield. After the death of Cenia, Harden married before 1940, Elkanah Summerlin, a daughter of G S Summerlin and Lucy Peebles.
Father of Marion Murrell, Mary, Isabell, Frances Elizabeth, Lois and Harden Hull "Ike" Camp Jr.
Grandson of Hope Hull Camp Sr & Jane Lindley and Hardin Haygood & Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Locklin.

H. H. Camp, 77, president of the Rockdale State Bank, farmer and stockman, died about midnight Sunday at his home in San Gabriel. He had been in poor health for sometime and about six weeks ago he underwent an operation at Temple but failed to improve.
Mr. Camp had long been recognized as an outstanding farmer and stockman and through his keen business ability he had gained a reputation in banking circles of Texas, having served as president of Rockdale State Bank for more than twenty-five years. From the beginning of the recent World War and for a long period of time he served as chairman of the Milam County Selective Board No. 1, and resigned only when his health would not permit the long hours on duty.
A native of Macon, Georgia, born Aug. 3, 1870, Mr. Camp came to Texas when a youth and soon after with his parents settled in the San Gabriel community where he spent the remainder of his life. Growing to manhood he continued to follow the farming industry, like his father, A. M. Camp, and within the years he established a

home of his own and acquired farm holding which grew in proportions. He had done much toward improving farming conditions in this section of Milam county and was an ardent and effective worker in promoting the raising of white face cattle.
Funeral services for Mr. Camp were held at San Gabriel from the family home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The casket was placed on the south end of the broad veranda and stood before a towering embankment of floral offerings. Those coming to pay their final tribute of respect stood beneath shade trees on the wide lawns surrounding the home.
In compliance with Mr. Camp's request the eulogy was given by Wade McGinnis of Taylor, a friend of long standing and a layman of the church. Mr. McGinnis read scripture from Corinthians, and touched briefly on the sterling qualities of Mr. Camp, as a friend and a citizen, stating that Mr. Camp loved to till the soil, and being a man of vision he had gone far in making the earth productive. He believed in progress and was ever ready to work for the welfare of the communities. He was a steadfast friend to schools and a true champion of education.
The speaker further stated that Mr. Camp was a sympathetic friend to the crippled child and the needy families, contributing on all occasions to their needs. He was a member of San Gabriel Christian Church. The community has lost a good and useful citizen.
Burial was made in the old Locklin cemetery where other members of the old Camp family rest. Rev. Frederick Ross, pastor of the First Christian Church at Taylor, had charge of the graveside rites. Casket attendants were the following nephews: Felton Camp, Hope Camp Jr., Emory B. Camp, Weldon Caldwell, Neth Leachman Jr., Bobby Jackson.
There survive the wife, two sons, M. M. and Ike Camp of San Gabriel, three daughters, Mrs. Neth L. Leachman, Miss Lois Camp of Dallas, Mrs. Rea Jackson of Philadelphia, Pa; four brothers, B. H. Camp of Temple, E. A. Camp of Rockdale, W. H. Camp of San Gabriel, H. M. Camp of Thorndale; two sisters, Mrs. R. H. Caldwell of Rockdale, and Mrs. Howard Amason of Roswell, N. M.
