When Leonard Hampton (Teet) Yarbrough was born in 1906 in Texas, his father, Sam, was 24 and his mother, Leta, was 22. He married Iona/Ruth Martin on December 23, 1926, in his hometown. They had one child during their marriage. He died on June 13, 1977, in Jayton, Texas, at the age of 71.
