DARROUZETT - Dulcie DUKE, 92, died Saturday, July 23, 1994.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Booker Christian Church with the Rev. Jim O'Banion, pastor, and the Rev. Everett Stevens of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Lipscomb Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Mrs. DUKE was born in Center, Missouri, and had lived in the Darrouzett area for 75 years. She earned her teaching certification from West Texas State Teacher's College in 1925 and taught at Lipscomb schools for many years. She married Cruise DUKE in 1927 at Canadian.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982, and a son, C. T. DUKE, in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Dolores CROSS of Amarillo and Peggy DUKE of Booker; a sister, Opal HILL of Booker; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
