When Katie Lee Rushing was born on November 15, 1889, in Bossier City, Louisiana, her father, John, was 36, and her mother, Susan, was 37. She married William P Davis on September 1, 1909. They had four children during their marriage. She died on April 20, 1971, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 81.
