When William Hasdresder "Willie" Anderson was born on November 1, 1878, in McLennan, Texas, his father, Meads, was 38 and his mother, Verlinda, was 29. He married Katy Bell Lowe on August 21, 1902, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had four children in 10 years. He died on May 26, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 84, and was buried there.
