DARROUZETT - Reinhold Dave "R. D." MEIER, 65, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Darrouzett with Bill Griffin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Darrouzett Cemetery by Johnson's Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
Mr. MEIER was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Beaver, Okla. He married Julene HERBER on April 12, 1967, in Shattuck, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Connie WEATHERBIE of Canyon, Sharon MEIER of Dickenson and Jan SLOVACEK of Hitchcock; a son, David SMITH of Oklahoma City; his mother, Emily MEIER of Canadian; two sisters, Julie MOORE of Colorado City and LaVerta SCHAFER of Canadian; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Paul's Lutheran Church; or American Legion, Kiowa Post No. 635 of Darrouzett.
