Mollie Etta Hodges, 95, of Emory, Texas, formerly of Quinlan, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe, Texas, with Rev. Wallace Clay officiating, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville.

Mrs. Hodges was born in Jacksboro, Texas on September 14, 1915. She was the daughter of Matt Carr and Annie Bramalow Carr. She married Alva Ray Barnett in 1935. He preceded in death in 1958. In 1963, she married Vernon Hodges. He preceded in death in 2002. She was a member of the Nazarene Church and was retired as head dietician at Denton State School.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by her daughters, Patsy Hanks and husband, Benny of Emory, Texas and Sara Hughes of Amarillo; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cimperman of Denton; step-daughter, Shirley Martin of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Kevin Hanks, Curtis Hanks, Jan Page, Robert Hughes, Jr., Robbie Ann Beckner, Tamra Rickelman and Macky Barnett; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas (Mack) Barnett; her parents; son-in-law, Robert Hughes; six brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Marky Barnett, Deed Cimperman, Sterling Beckner, Benny Hanks, Kephen Hanks and Robert Hughes, Jr. Source: Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville
