J. A. (Alex) Henderson, 76, of Ben Arnold died Monday afternoon in Temple. He was a member of the Milam County Draft Board for 15 years and a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Henderson was born in Alabama and moved to Texas in 1898.
Funeral services were at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday at Green's Funeral Home chapel in Cameron, the Rev. J. C. Collins officiating. Burial was in the Ben Arnold cemetery.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Reese Henderson of El Paso; two daughters, Mrs. Joy Lowry of Lorena and Mrs. Bobbie Poulin of Waco; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Nichols of Cameron; a brother, A. D. Henderson of Calvert; and eight grandchildren.
