*OBITUARY
I. O. LOONEY BURIED BEN ARNOLD SUNDAY
I. O. Looney, Bartlett business man and native of Milam county, was buried Sunday afternoon at Ben Arnold.
Mr. Looney died Saturday in a hospital where he had been taken for treatment following a collapse of his health.
He had been engaged in the hardware business in Bartlett for many years. The old home is at Ben Arnold where his mother, Mrs. Ike Looney, widow of the late Hon. Ike Looney, former representative, now resides.
Mr. Looney was a brother of Mrs. G. B. Taylor of Cameron.
Funeral services were held in Bartlett in the early afternoon and the body taken to Ben Arnold for interment.
Funeral services at Ben Arnold were interrupted bu a violent hail and rain storm. Dr. G. B. Taylor who sat near the aged Mrs. Ike Looney was injured when a steel support of the funeral canvas feel across his head.
The funeral was held up until the rain ceased.
The family has lived at Ben Arnold for many years. Deceased left here some 25 years ago and had been a successful merchant in Bartlett.
