*OBITUARY

MRS. A. L. MASSENGALE DIES AT MAYSFIELD

Mrs. A. L. Massengale died at the family residence near Maysfield at 6:30 p. m. Thursday, April 9, 1942.
She had been in declining health for several years
but her death came suddenly as she sat for the evening meal with members of the family.
It was thought her death was due to a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p. m. Saturday afternoon from the Presbyterian Church in Maysfield with the pastor, Rev. Henry Bailey conducting the services. Interment will be made in Little River Cemetery. The Coleman Funeral Home in Cameron will have charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Massengale is survived by her husband, A. L. Massengale; three daughters, Mrs. Fanning Hodges of Marlin Mrs. Harold Jones of Minerva, Miss Birdie Una of Maysfield; two sons, Ralph Massengale of Freeport and Alfred of Maysfield.
Mrs. Massengale was a native of Anderson county but had lived at Maysfield for many years.
