STINNETT - C.R. "Roy" Lindsey, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Gaines, pastor of Stinnett United Methodist Church and the Rev. David Brasher, pastor of First United Methodist Church of
Fritch, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Lindsey was born in Healdton, Okla., and had been a Stinnett resident for 47 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army 90th Infantry Artillery. He was a retired employee of Diamond Well Service and was a member of Stinnett United Methodist Church.

He married Christine Cowen in 1942 at Odessa.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jesse Lindsey of Three Rivers, and Jim Lindsey of Stinnett; two daughters, Frances Mack of Fritch and Sandra Greer of Richland, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The body will be available for viewing at Brown's Memorial Chapel in Stinnett.

Christine Lindsey, 88, of Stinnett, TX, passed away, Sunday, January 13, 2013.

Christine Delene (Edwards) Lindsey was born Monday, January 28, 1924 in Peacock, TX. She married Clifton Roy Lindsey on June 6, 1942 in Abilene, TX. She was retired from secretary/treasurer of the Stinnett Cemetery District. Christine was a member of Golden Spread Grandmothers Club.

Mrs. Lindsey is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Guy Edwards and Jesse Edwards Jr.; and one great grandchild, Jared Parks.

Survivors include two sons, Jesse Lindsey and wife Judy of Springer, OK and Jimmy Lindsey and wife Elizabeth of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Frances Mack and husband Bob of Fritch, TX and Sandra Greer and husband Denver of Fredericksburg, TX; and twelve grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; and special friend, Duella Nixon of Stinnett, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Stinnett, TX with Pastor Dwight Kirksey and Pastor Donald Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Stinnett Cemetery in Stinnett, TX.
