Borger News Herald - October 25, 1982
Charlie Adams, 86, of 824 Derr, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Georgia, he had been a Borger resident for 32 years. He was a retired West Texas Construction Company employee and a member of the Baptist Church.
He married Susie Smart, June 11, 1916, in Cooper.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, George of Claude, Prentis of Borger, J.C. of Cotton Center, Charlie of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Turnage of Borger and Mrs. Ollie Mae Turnage of Colorado City; two brothers, Other Adams of Paris, Tex., Walter Adams of Tyler; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Coats of Bonham; 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
