FRITCH - Rube T. Adams, 87, of 302 North Longwood died at 2:40 a.m. today at North Plains Hospital.
Mr. Adams had lived in Fritch for the past 12 years. He moved here from Mountain Grove, Mo.
He was a retired stock farmer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Bethel Temple in Borger. The Rev. James Jordons [sic], pastor, will officiate and will be assisted by Dave Adkins, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Grace F.; a son, Robert Taylor Adams of Hereford; four daughters, Mrs. Noble Hoppe of Borger, Mrs. Maxine Tolleson of Fritch, Mrs. Dorothy Nell Avery of San Antionio [sic] and Mrs. Joanna Gilliam of Abilene; a sister, Mrs. Jack Golightly of Pharr; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Grace Fernell Adams, 89, of 302 N. Longwood St. in Fritch, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Abilene.
Services are pending with Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Falls City, Neb., she was a Fritch resident for 21 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Universal Ministries of Truth Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Robert Taylor Adams of Hereford; four daughters, Ruth Hoppe of Borger, Joanna Gilliam of Abilene, Maxine Tolleson of Fritch and Dorothy Nell Avery of San Antonio; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Robertson of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Nell Obsen and Mrs. Lahoma Rucker, both of Overland Park, Kan.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
